Aspen Youth Center is a non-profit organization relying on the generous support of many donors. Program fee's only cover 5% of our budget, the remaining 95% of our budget is raised through fundraising events, grants and individual contributions. Facts- -3-6 pm is the riskiest time in any child's day. Our enriching after school programs fill that void. -Rigorous research has shown that quality after school programs can transform hours of soaring crime, drug use and vehicle accidents into constructive activity that can build a child's self-esteem, increase high school graduation rates and decrease crime and drug use. -In our last fiscal year we recorded an overwhelming 19,876 youth visits! More reasons to support the AYC!! "Thank you for supporting this wonderful program. For the past weeks my daughter has been having a lot of fun moments at the AYC. She has made a lot of new friends and now is more social. Everyday she comes home with something that she made. She loves all the activities, so she always participates with enthusiasm. Thank you again for letting my daughter have so many fun opportunities." - Laura Moreno, AYC parent "The Aspen Youth Center goes above and beyond to care for our students after school hours. The staff is amazing and is able to meet the needs of each individual kid by really getting to know who they are. It is so great to be able to refer parents to the AYC and know that the kids will have a safe place to go rather than just hanging out in town." -Molly Kridel, Aspen Middle School Counselor "I came to AYC to hang out with different ethnic groups- there is no racial tension." -Trevor Watson, AYC member "The Aspen Youth Center makes my life an adventure." -Tiffany Monzon, AYC member "I consider the youth center my second home. I come to the youth center because my parents work most of the time and it's a really fun place to be around my friends. People feel safe there." -Emigdio Salas, AYC member "Today I went on an all girls rock climbing trip with the youth center. I had a really fun time. I did not give up. It was the funnest time of my life up on Independence Pass." - Amber Wright, AYC member
