Brittany LaClair graduated from the University of Vermont in the spring of 2013 with a degree in Environmental Studies and Recreation Management. That fall, she moved to Aspen to follow her love of snowboarding and the outdoors. She was a snowboard instructor for the next four winters, working with kids of all ages and abilities. She then worked as an educator for Aspen Center for Environmental Studies before starting at Aspen Youth Center in 2017. She is now the Program Manager at AYC and plans daily, year-round programming for youth in 4th through 12th grade. Daily activities include cooking, art, and science classes as well as outdoor activities including rock climbing, hiking, white water rafting, skiing, and horseback riding. She loves being able to show youth the beauty of our home and teach them life skills through our programming.
